Airwave Solutions is a partnership between Broadcast Australia and UK-based Airwave Solutions.

In the United Kingdom, Airwave operates one of the world’s largest and most complex public safety voice and data networks, providing a nationwide secure digital network for over 300 individual emergency services and government agencies.  The network is engineered with extreme fault tolerance to ensure every voice call and every data packet for the 250,000 users is delivered every time.

In Australia, Airwave and its parent company Broadcast Australia operate nationwide critical communication services from 605 sites under long term contracts with government.  These services cover 99% of the population, supported by over 400 employees, including 250 field technicians, radio planning specialists, engineers and project staff.  In addition to these staff there are 2000 trained first-in-maintainers located close to communications sites in regional and remote locations that ensure continuity of these high availability services 24/7.

As a national communication network operator, the BA Group has office and maintenance facilities in every Australian State and Territory.
